Dreadlocks with long, loose ends have a beautiful, versatile look, but require a little more attention to keep them beautiful than classic dreadlocks. With a little extra care, your dreadlocks will continue to look radiant and you can enjoy their unique style! To keep the ends soft, shiny and cared for, you can:

• Sleep with a satin cap: Sleeping with a satin cap or pillowcase helps to keep the long loose ends beautiful because it is protected while you sleep.
• Comb out weekly: Use a brush or comb to gently comb out the ends. This prevents tangles and keeps them supple and smooth.
• Smoothe it out: Every now and then you can touch up the ends with a straightener or curling iron. This helps to straighten the fiber or make it curly again. This way you can maintain the shape and the silky, natural hair look.

Don’t want to do this? No problem. The loose ends wil twist together a little and the look of the dreadlock changes.
