The loose ends can take heating tools with a max temperature of 200°c / 392°F, so you can change your whole look any time you like. Just let the hair cool down before you release the curl and it will hold for a long time.

Maintenance of dreadlocks with loose ends
Dreadlocks with loose ends need a little more love than classic dreadlocks, but it is totally worth it for that beautiful look! If you opt for wavy loose ends, it is important to brush them carefully at least once a week. Do you think the curls could use a refresh? Then you can reshape them with a straightener or curling iron.
Do you wear the ends straight? Then brush them out when you think it is necessary. If you want to make them smooth and shiny again, you can gently treat them with a flat iron up to a maximum of 200 degrees Celsius. The heat ensures that the ends look tight, soft and shiny again. The great thing is that you can do this as often as you want, without damaging your dreadlocks. With a little attention, your dreadlocks will always look great!
